LINE difungsikan dengan menggunakan jaringan internet sehingga pengguna LINE dapat melakukan aktivitas seperti mengirim pesan teks, mengirim gambar, video, pesan suara, dan lain lain. LINE diklaim sebagai aplikasi pengirim pesan instan terlaris di 42 negara.

Saat ini LINE Indonesia kembali membuka lowongan kerja sebagai :

1. Server-side Engineer


  • Kickstart the development of new products for LINE users in Indonesia
  • Take responsibilities in developing web and/or server-side components of any future products for Indonesia and Global market
  • Develop APIs and services that allow both internal and external parties to integrate with LINE platform
  • Show initiatives and demonstrate ownership of the product by suggesting new features and provide insights during product development
  • Work closely with fellow global LINE developers in other countries


  • Major in Computer Science, or related field, from reputable university
  • Good knowledge of computer science or related engineering field
  • Have experiences to develop a web from scratch and shipping it to production stage
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skill
  • Have experiences in designing software system from scratch
  • Excels in at least one of the following programming languages, including but not limited to: Java / Python / Node.js
  • Experience in contributing to open source projects and fluent in English is a plus
  • No minimum years of experience. If you’re good, prove it, that’ll be enough

2. Site Reliability Engineer


  • Analyze and solve technical problems of system using software engineering methodologies
  • Maintain and improve services to achieve low latency and high availability
  • Monitor system to detect problems, conduct post-incident review, and plan system capacity
  • Develop tools and system to automate routine operations for efficient software development process
  • Participate in the entire software development process including design, development, delivery, monitoring, and improvement
  • Work with other engineers to build appropriate service environment, operate services, and improve them continuously


  • Majored in Computer Science, or related field, from reputable university
  • Have solid knowledge and understanding in computer science (e.g. use of standard algorithms and data structures, OS, network, database)
  • Experience in software development for web services or mobile applications using Java/Kotlin
  • Experience using a Linux/Unix development environment
  • Have strong interest and ability to learn any new technical topic
  • Good communication skill in English
  • Experience in development and operation for large-scale system
  • System architecture and design experience including but not limited to some of the following topics:
    • Networking (HTTP 1.1/2, TCP/IP, DNS etc.)
    • Scalling and auto-scaling
    • Micro-services, DDD (Domain Driven Design)
    • RPC (REST, Thrift, ProtoBuf, etc)
    • Asynchronous I/O
    • Virtualization
    • Task Automation
    • RDBMS (MySQL, etc)
    • NoSQL (MongoDB, etc)
    • Distributed Cache (Redis, etc)
    • Distributed Transaction

3. Product Manager


  • Initiate, shape, plan, and manage the rollout of the features and improvements for the product that you own
  • Lead execution of product development closely with Product Design and Engineering counterparts using agile development process
  • Drive growth, measure impact, and perform necessary course correction to achieve business goal
  • Identify partnership development and content sourcing opportunities
  • Conduct user researches, gather insights from both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Manage operational coordination with our Legal, Information Security, Compliance, and other supporting teams to launch and sustain the product
  • Be the voice for Indonesian users, work cross-functionally with a global team comprising of members from Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, and Japan


  • Good team player and have a high agency mentality
  • Strong knowledge in product management with 5+ years of working experience, preferably having hands-on experience building a Fintech product
  • Can influence without having much authority
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skill, making less room for misinterpretations among our team
  • Strong understanding and interest in agile development process
  • Able to turn abstract and incomplete ideas into an action plan
  • Detail-oriented, data-driven, and can work under pressure when needed
  • Can prioritize what is important vs what is nice-to-have for our users
  • Have interest like to observe people’s behavior in their daily lives and have strong opinions about market dynamics in Indonesia
  • Willing to work full-time in Jakarta with the possibility of having frequent business trips outside Indonesia

4. Growth Manager


  • Work with different departments to identify growth opportunities throughout LINE’s current and future strategies
  • Come up with different ways to seize these opportunities
  • Work with the Product engineering, design, and marketing team to implement tests quickly
  • Evaluate the results and make adjustments


  • Minimum bachelor’s degree from reputable university
  • 3-5 years experience in customer and growth focus, have worked on various kind of products or projects with thousands of customers, run survey or research with people who used your products, solid understanding on how to develop a growth funnel.
  • Decision maker and able to provide direction
  • Data driven, dedicated to utilize any type of data analytics and able to self-serve your own analyses
  • Clear communication and logical, comfortable communicating with internal and external partners on challenging issues
  • Fresh ideas, interested in solving problems in novel ways, communicate the impact of those ideas and formulate plans to implement them

5. Agency Sales Manager


  • Acquire Corporate Client or Agency Help and market them, Engage,, and Connect with Their ‘audience with LINE A Better Inventories
  • Manage end-to-end client relationship including pitching, negotiation, contracting, billing/invoicing, and payment collection, result tracking, and troubleshooting assistance
  • Responsible to achieve sales target and regularly communicating progress and strategies that will be deployed to reach revenue target with the manager
  • Responsible for understanding current industry trends


  • Graduated from reputable universities, either domestic or overseas
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in handling key account management
  • Network with agencies are preferable
  • Same industry background is preferable
  • People person and have high interest in engaging with people
  • Self driven and high initiatives.

6. Customer Care Supervisor


  • Ensure CS Quality Assurance by checking the answers given to users by tier 1 operators
  • Handle escalated cases and customer complaints, and provide resolutions in a timely manner
  • Set up and lead CS team related to financial services
  • Build and Set up CS KPI/SLA and ensure all the KPI’s/ SLA’s achieved
  • Able to complete special projects and/or other tasks as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree from reputable university
  • 3-5 years of experiences in customer service operation in tech industries especially in financial technology as supervisor or assistant manager
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Quick learner, analytic and logical thinking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or other relevant software application
